Ms. Loredana Salcianu is the Managing Partner of Salcianu Attorneys as Law and has more than 12 years experience as a senior attorney at law.
Ms. Loredana Salcianu acquired significant professional experience during her collaboration of almost ten years with the associated law office of one of the Big Four audit and consulting company. As one of the partner in charge of this association, Ms. Salcianu handled a wide variety of sophisticated transactions covering legal and regulatory issues, project finance, mergers and acquisitions, privatizations, joint-ventures and corporate restructuring projects.
At the beginning of 2006 Ms. Salcianu decided to accept new professional challenges and founded Salcianu Attorneys at Law.
Ms. Loredana Salcianu has gained a wide reputation in handling complex commercial negotiation and she coordinated numerous projects in various industry sectors (such as heavy industry, medical and pharmaceutical sectors as well as food and other consumer products sector) including green field projects and has participated in the privatization of major State-owned companies.
Ms. Loredana Salcianu has considerable experience in assisting Romanian and foreign companies in international joint ventures and corporate restructuring projects and she was involved as team leader in numerous successful acquisitions and in a wide range of major real estate deals.
Other areas of practice include taxation, banking and insurance, secured transactions.
Ms. Loredana Salcianu is permanently involved in the development and implementation of the legal Romanian framework, being often invited in the working groups appointed for promoting various legislative changes.
Aside from her native Romanian, Ms. Loredana Salcianu is fluent in English and has a working knowledge in French. As a member of the Bucharest Bar Association, Ms. Salcianu is entitled to plead in front of all levels of jurisdiction in Romania, including the Romanian High Court of Cassation & Justice.
